Everybody Likes Katie Katie Holmes is starring in a Spike Lee produced film called Mania Days and word on the set is that lots of guys (crew members, extras, everybody) have been repeatedly asking her out. It's gotten to the point to where the director, Paul Dalio, is annoyed. Poor Katie, I know how that is. From the moment I set foot in South Louisiana High, I'm avoiding eye contact with the creeps who are all like, "Hey Mia! Um...what are you doing later today?" Don't they know I have a boyfriend?! Anyway, yesterday Prince Harry spent some time in Harlem, playing baseball with local neighborhood kids. Ya know, that sounds sweet and everything, but lets be realistic. In Disney movies, your average handsome Prince is a charming guy who impresses some dainty maiden with his kindness, strength, and chivalry. In real life chivalry is dead and your average handsome Prince only plays baseball with cute kids from Harlem when a savvy publicist tells the Prince that if he plays baseball with adorable children then people will forget all about what the Prince did in Vegas. In any case, I'm sure the kids were happy to play baseball with a Prince, but ladies- let's be realistic about this, Harry did this for his image. Angelina's Decision Angelina Jolie recently made a tough decision. When she discovered that she was at high risk for breast and ovarian cancer, she decided to undergo a double mastectomy and have her ovaries removed. On a serious note, I respect Angie for her decision and I think that the light she's shed on her actions will give our society a more balanced perspective of what is beautiful.
