Good Morning Pretty People, Andy forgot to post yesterday's Celebrity Buzz everyone, and yes, she is a giant dork for doing so, but that's okay, she's a cool kid- she told me that she was busy filming something called Sister Planet and then she made me promise to watch it...I said I would and that was definitely a lie. Anyway, enough about Andy lets talk about Selena Gomez. Selena Gomez Pulls A T-Swift During Concert Over the weekend, Selena showed us that Taylor Swift isn't the only singer who brings her personal life into her music. The BFF of Swift was performing at a benefit concert for UNCIEF when she said, "I've been through a lot the past few months. It's been weird and sad and cool." and then launched into a sad rendition of Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River". She's clearly still recovering from her Bieber break-up, and though she's been spotted partying with Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Sarah Hyland, and Josh Hutcherson, as we all know, getting over a break-up takes time. We wish Selena well. Read More Here Erin Darke Daniel Radcliffe Has a New GF Daniel Radcliffe was spotted getting cozy with Erin Darke. You're probably all like, "Who's Erin Darke?! After hearing her last name, I'm assuming that she's some kind of superhero?" And that's exactly what I said. Unfortunately, we were wrong. Erin Darke is not a superhero, instead she has been working as a Casting Assistant for the past couple of years and more recently, Erin co-starred in, "Kill Your Darlings" alongside Daniel. So, she and Daniel have been hanging out and having lots of fun...yay for E and D, hope it works out. Read More Here Michael J. Fox Apologizes To Taylor Swift... Seriously?! Michael. Dude. You're Hollywood Royalty so why even bother with this?! ...sigh. Here's what went down: Michael J. Fox apologized to Taylor Swift for saying, when asked by some reporter what he'd think of Taylor dating his son, that he wouldn't approve of it and then making a little bit of fun of the way Taylor writes break up songs that bash her Exes. A few days after Michael's funny conversation with that reporter, on Twitter, we find Taylor tweeting, "Hey everybody, Michael J. Fox got in touch with me today and we are good. Thank you for having my back." Ugh...Michael J. Fox (one of the most respected men in Hollywood) apologizing to Taylor Swift (cute and clever, but clearly one of the most emotionally immature girls in Hollywood) for a joke he made?! Ugh! I'm aghast. Just aghast- and I'm not 100% sure what aghast means- but I'm positive that it describes what I'm feeling right now. This is probably why T's relationships never work out- she's too sensitive! A strong woman knows how to laugh at herself and move on. Read More Here At school, a lot of people know who I am, I'm very visible and that's fine with me.
But, I also realize that there's a dark side to popularity. Girls talk smack about me behind my back, guys assume things about me that aren't true and blah blah...so of course I hear them talking about me but I ignore it, unless it's really awful and merits special attention. So, here's my question for you: How do you know when it's appropriate to request an apology for someone who made a hurtful joke about you and when should you just shrug and move on? Alright pretty people- later. -Mia
