Ms. Gina Russo is an SLH Alum who came back to teach. She's basically a ray of sunshine; friendly, fast-talking, gesturing so much it makes you dizzy, and an amazing film maker. When Ms. Russo isn't going out of her way to help her students or fending off
Coach Jacobs unwanted advances, she can be found writing and
directing her own short films. We have a feeling that one day, she's
going to be famous.
For nearly all of her 22 years, Gina Russo has felt suffocated by Swamp Rose Louisiana, she longs to pack her camera bag and move to a city where things actually happen. But when her small town's invisible vigilante, "Unseen", saves her life Gina's focus begins to shift. Now determined to find her savoir and, at the very least, thank him, Gina realizes that "Unseen" is a difficult man to catch up with. In her quest to find and unmask the brave hero, she slowly but surely unmasks herself. Gina faces her fears and as a result, finds her bravery.
When she learns that there are other people in her town, "mutants" who have powerful abilities similar to Unseen's and that one of them has kidnapped her best friend, it's nothing less than bravery that moves Gina to risk her life for her friend.
